HARRY MASUDA is CEO of HyperBaric Systems, Inc. After graduating from
San Jose State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he
earned his MSEE while working as an Engineer for small startup
companies. He was on the design team that introduced the first
semiconductor memory systems for the IBM mainframe computers in the late
1960s. Prior to that, magnetic core memories were used as the main
storage medium. After several more assignments in small companies, he
started his own company in 1977 offering semiconductor memory add-ons
for minicomputers and later microcomputers. The company was sold later
to a public company to gain shareholder liquidity. The company grew to
about $30 million in sales. Mr. Masuda became CEO of several other high
tech companies before starting HyperBaric Systems with several other
individuals. Although he has been involved with many startup companies,
HyperBaric Systems differs from all of the others in that the potential
impact that its technology can have on the industry is overwhelming.
