Gerhard E. Bruckermann

GERHARD E. BRUCKERMANN is Chief Executive Officer of DePfa Bank. He
graduated with a degree in Law from the Universities of Freiburg, Bonn,
Regensburg and Berlin. After two years of training at Rheinischer
Sparkassen-und Giroverband in Dusseldorf, he joined Westdeutsche
Landesbank in the International Department. He then started work for
Deutsche Bank in the Corporate Finance Department. Since 1991, he has
been Member of the Board of Managing Directors of DePfa Deutsche
Pfandbriefbank Aktiengesellschaft, Wiesbaden. He is Chairman of DePfa
Bank Europe Plc, Dublin, Chairman of DePfa USA Inc, New York, he is
Member of the Board of Directors of DePfa Investment Bank Ltd, Cyprus
and Chairman and Representative Director of DePfa Capital Japan, Tokyo.
And since 1998, he is a Member of the Exchange Committee of the
Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Mr Bruckermann is married with three
children.
