Garry P. Mihaichuk

GARRY P. MIHAICHUK, President and CEO of TC PipeLines LP, is Senior Vice
President, TransCanada and President, TransCanada Transmission
responsible for all aspects of the pipeline business in Canada and the
United States. Mr. Mihaichuk has over 20 years of diversified energy and
petrochemical experience, and has held several overseas positions in
senior management with a number of multi-national companies. He has
developed strategies for and operated investments and assets in Canada,
USA, Hong Kong, China and South America. Mr. Mihaichuk joined
TransCanada in July 1996 and was appointed President and CEO of the
International Business Unit until his appointment as President,
Transmission in August 1999. Prior to this he was Chairman of Amoco
Orient Company and Senior Vice President for Amoco Corporation, located
in Hong Kong and Beijing, where he had overall responsibility for
business activities in China. Mr. Mihaichuk holds a BSc in Mechanical
Engineering, and is a graduate of the executive programs from the
Harvard Business School, the University of Michigan’s Global Leadership
program and the University of Calgary, where he has also taught
strategic planning and leadership for the Executive Development Program
over the last 10 years. Mr. Mihaichuk is a member of the Board of
Foothills Pipe Lines Ltd., Great Lakes Gas Transmission, Northern Border
Pipeline Company, TC Pipelines GP, Inc., Trans Quebec and Maritimes
Pipeline Inc., Canadian Energy Pipeline Association, Canadian Gas
Association as well as a number of international companies. He also is a
Board member of the Bethany Care Society.
