Fred Shen

FRED SHEN joined with Denis Milsom in January 1986 to form the
acoustical consulting firm of Shen, Milsom & Associates, Inc. Shortly
thereafter, he expanded the firm’s practice to include the design of
audiovisual systems and was joined by Hubert Wilke, changing the firm’s
name to Shen Milsom & Wilke. Late in 1991, realizing that
telecommunications are a natural extension of SM&W’s services, the firm
expanded into this third discipline. With this expansion, Mr. Shen
positioned Shen Milsom & Wilke in the fast-paced technology field,
providing integrated services in a variety of areas from the mundane to
the highly specialized. Recently, he also expanded the firm to include
building security consulting. As Principal-in-Charge of most of Shen
Milsom & Wilke’s major assignments, he is responsible for
conceptualizing the firm’s project approach in integrated communications
technologies. He personally guides the firm’s most challenging
assignments involving all three technical disciplines. Mr. Shen is a
graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in
engineering. He attended the Graduate Engineering College at Brooklyn
Polytechnic Institute for special courses in vibration and acoustics,
and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of New York. In
addition, Mr. Shen is a respected speaker on technology issues,
presenting at various seminars, symposia, and other forums.
