Fred Hume

FRED HUME is President and CEO Data I/O Corporation For more than 30
years, Mr. Hume has been an executive in the electronics industry. He
has served in executive management positions at Fluke, Inc., Keithley
Instruments and since 1999, he has been President and Chief Executive
Officer of Data I/O Corporation. Mr. Hume has also served as a member of
the board of directors for a number of companies, including IFR Systems
and ILX Lightwave. He has also chaired or served on the boards of the
Washington State High Technology Coordinating Board, the New Product
Development Consortium of New York, the American Electronics Association
and the National Academy of Science. An author of numerous technical and
management papers, Mr. Hume holds two patents and has completed
management education certificates at the University of Washington,
Harvard Business School and Stanford University.
