ERIC LARSEN, as President and Chief Executive Officer of Netcentives,
Inc., has ultimate responsibility for maintaining Netcentives’ position
as a leading provider of customized loyalty solutions, e-mail marketing
programs, and consulting services. Mr. Larsen brings to Netcentives 25
years of technology, sales and marketing expertise and success in
building and managing large, fast growing organizations for top
technology companies including Apple and Gateway Computers. In 1987, he
joined Apple Computer where he spent nine years in various capacities,
including serving as Marketing Director for Apple’s North American
Customer Communications division and as a top-performing regional sales
manager. In 1995, he left Apple and co-founded M2 Communications, one of
the first Internet strategy firms in Silicon Valley representing a
variety of clients including Gateway Computers. In 1996, Mr. Larsen left
M2 Communications to serve as Vice President of Global Client Care at
Gateway Computers where he executed a major turnaround, moving the
company’s customer contact operation to ‘best of class’ among the
industry. In 1998, Mr. Larsen accepted a position with Impiric (formerly
Wunderman Cato Johnson), the world’s largest marketing services and
customer relationship management (CRM) organization, and was quickly
promoted to President. Mr. Larsen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics
from the University of Iowa.
