EDWIN A. SCHERRER, CEO of Bon Apptit Group. Edwin A. Scherrer (born in 1943) studied music before going to work for department store companies for eight years. He then joined the branded goods manufacturer Hero as a sales manager. From 1981 to 1989 he worked at Denner
Ltd., first as marketing director and then as member of the Executive Board. Subsequently, from 1989 to 1991, Mr Scherrer was CEO of Konsum Verein Zrich. In 1992 he was appointed Delegate of the Board of Directors of Pick Pay. In mid-1997 he took over as CEO of the then UHC. In mid-1999 he was appointed CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Bon apptit Group. He has been CEO of Bon apptit Group since mid-2000.
