Edward D. Segal

EDWARD D. SEGAL is Chairman of the Managing Board and Chief
Executive Officer of Metron Technology NV. He has been a Managing
Director of Metron Technology since November 1995. Mr. Segal
previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of
Transpacific Technology Corporation, a company that he founded in
1982. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Semiconductor
Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), a trade association
for suppliers to the semiconductor industry, and a 2002 recipient
of the SEMI Bob Graham Award, an award created for marketing
excellence. Mr. Segal holds a BS degree in Metallurgical
Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
