William P. Long

DR. WILLIAM P. LONG is President of Altair International. He has over 20
years’ experience in the mineral and energy industries, including
extensive work in marketing, acquisitions, financings, corporate and
project evaluations, mineral commodity analysis and engineering. He
joined Altair as president in 1988. Previously, Dr. Long was a mineral
and energy consultant. From 1980-1986, he was executive vice president
and CFO for Thermal Exploration Company. Dr. Long also held several
positions with AMAX Exploration, including Business Manager, Geothermal;
Systems Engineer and Business Analyst, Geothermal; and Systems Engineer.
Other experience includes the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Standard
Oil Company. Long earned a Ph.D. in Mineral Economics from the Colorado
School of Mines and his professional degree in Chemical and Petroleum
Refining Engineering, also from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a
member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American
Institute of Mining Engineers and the Geothermal Resources Council.
