Shreefal Mehta

DR. SHREEFAL MEHTA is CEO of Myomatrix. Dr. Mehta Trained as a research
scientist in the field of biomedical engineering at the University of
Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Shreefal Mehta saw a gap in research
development and commercial delivery of that research to patients. His
scientific experience presentations and publications) and practical
experience in bringing a new technology from concept to clinic has given
him a broad background from which to approach and evaluate new emerging
technologies. He also serves as consultant with the biomedical industry.
He received his MBA degree at the Lally School of Management and
Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with a focus in
technological entrepreneurship. In addition to being CEO of Myomatrix
Therapeutics, he also holds the post of Research Assistant Professor of
Biotechnology Management at the Lally School and is Program Director of
the Radical Innovation Research Program. He has published numerous
scientific papers in internationally recognized journals and conferences
and has received awards for his scientific research and for his
endeavors in the MBA program.
