Richard A. Miller

DR. RICHARD A. MILLER is the President, Chief Executive Officer and a
Director of Pharmacyclics, Inc., a public biotechnology company, which
he co-founded in April 1991. In 1984, Dr. Miller co-founded IDEC
Pharmaceuticals Corporation, a public biotechnology company, where he
served as Vice President and a Director until February 1992. Dr. Miller
also is a Clinical Professor of Medicine (Oncology) at Stanford
University Medical Center. Dr. Miller received his MD, summa cum laude,
from the State University of New York Medical School and is Board
Certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
