Klaus Pohle

DR KLAUS POHLE is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors
of Schering AG. He is responsible for Finance and Administration for
Asia, Pacific. Dr Pohle is also member of the Supervisory Board of
Aventis CropScience. He studied Law and Business Administration at the
Universities of Tubingen, Munchen, Frankfurt/Main and Harvard, USA. He
holds a Master of Law from Harvard University, USA. Prior to joining
Schering, Dr Pohle was Director of BASF Brasileira SA in Brazil,
following his position as Director of BASF Espanola SA in Spain.
