Dr. Klaus Eierhoff, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Klaus Eierhoff was born in 1953 and studied business administration in Gttingen after leaving school. In 1981 he became a product manager in the Retail division of Nixdorf, Paderborn. In 1984 he joined the management of Bertelsmann Distribution in Gtersloh, becoming Managing Director in 1987. In 1990, Dr. Eierhoff joined the Executive Board of Karstadt AG in Essen, where his duties included management of the logistics, and organization and information technology divisions, as well as responsibility for small and medium-sized department stores. He returned to Bertelsmann in 1998 as a member of the Executive Board and was CEO of the Direct Group business unit from 2000 onwards. Dr. Eierhoff has been appointed as the new CEO of Thiel Logistik AG with effect from April 1, 2003.
Martin Lffler, Chief Financial Officer
After studying Traffic Management in Heilbronn and later obtaining an MBA in the USA, Martin Lffler first held leading positions at an international haulage company and subsequently worked at a variety of retail and service companies. He was Head of Controlling at Computer 2000 AG from 1995 through 1999, then Director of Business Operations at its subsidiary, Tech Data Deutschland GmbH, Munich. Effective June 1, 2003, he has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Thiel Logistik AG.
