George C. Zoley

DR. GEORGE C. ZOLEY has served as President and Director of Wackenhut
Corrections since it was incorporated in 1988 and as the Chief Executive
Officer since April 1994. In June 1996, he was appointed to the
additional position of Senior Vice President of The Wackenhut
Corporation, parent company of Wackenhut Corrections Corporation. In
January 1997, Dr. Zoley was appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of
Directors of Wackenhut Corrections Corporation. In 1981, Dr. Zoley
joined the parent company to lead the company’s privatization of various
services to federal, state and municipal agencies. It was through his
efforts that the correctional division of The Wackenhut Corporation was
initially established in 1984. This division evolved into Wackenhut
Corrections Corporation, a leading developer in the operation and
management of privatized correctional and detention facilities and
related services in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Australia,
and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Wackenhut Services, Inc., Dr.
Zoley held various administrative and management positions for city and
county governments in South Florida. Dr. Zoley is a graduate of Nova
University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he earned his Doctor of
Public Administration. He received his Master of Public Administration
and Bachelor of Arts from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton,
Florida.
