DR. COSME ORDOEZ joined Dlouhy Merchant Group in April 2000. He
brings a strong medical research background to his coverage of
the biotechnology sector. He has an MD from the Higher Institute
of Medical Sciences in Havana, Cuba, and a PhD from McGill
University, where he performed research in oncology. He did his
postdoctoral training at the Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm,
Sweden, and at the Center of Genetic Engineering and
Biotechnology and the National Institute of Oncology in Havana,
Cuba. His career path has taken him from the hospital to the
laboratory to financial analysis. He currently focuses on drug
development and vaccine companies.
