Charles S. Palm

DR. CHARLES S. PALM, President and CEO of Synthonics Technologies, Inc.,
is a Founder of Synthonics Incorporated. He received a PhD in
Engineering Sciences from the University of Florida in 1975. Prior to
joining the company, he co-founded Colorocs Corporation in Atlanta,
Georgia. Colorocs developed and marketed full-color copier and full-
color laser printers that were marketed under several different brand
names, such as Sharp and Savin, worldwide. Dr. Palm received nine
patents related to electro-photographic technologies used in his copier
designs. He was a member of the management team that took Colorocs
through an initial public offering in 1986. Dr. Palm supervised the
Lunar Laser Ranging Experiment at the University of Texas McDonald
Observatory between 1975 and 1977. While in that capacity, he modified a
gigawatt laser system used to measure the distance from the Earth to the
moon within an accuracy of 1.5 inches. Dr. Palm has led or been part of
teams that have developed many important inventions during his career.
