Buus Lassen

DR BUUS LASSEN is co-founder of NeuroSearch A/S, and has been its
President and Chief Executive Officer since 1989. He has more than 30
years’ experience within neuropharmacology and has authored or co-
authored more than 30 publications, including the first paper published
with respect to paroxetine, an antidepressant. From 1980 through 1988,
he served as Managing Director of the research and development division
of Ferrosan. He is also chairman of the board of Zealand Pharmaceuticals
A/S and is a member of the boards of NeuroSearch A/s, NicOx SA, Bavarian
Nordic A/S and Scanbur A/S. He recieved his DVM from the royal School of
Veterinary and Agriculture Science in Copenhagen.
