Douglas E. Pritchett

DOUGLAS E. PRITCHETT is the Senior Vice President of Finance, CFO and
Treasurer of Avocent Corporation. Prior to joining the company, he
served as CFO for Barber Dairies, a privately held dairy products and
real estate company based in Birmingham, Alabama. While at Barber
Dairies, Mr. Pritchett was heavily involved in several acquisitions and
gained extensive experience in managing the financial operations of a
complex business. Preceding his tenure at Barber Dairies, he spent 15
years with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), his last five
years as partner. In 1995 Mr. Pritchett became a member of Cybex’s Board
of Directors and chaired the Audit Committee.
