Donald W. Hodges

Donald W. Hodges, Founder, Chairman and Portfolio Manager at Hodges Capital Management, began his investment career with Merrill Lynch in 1960. In 1974 he joined Rauscher Pierce Refsnes (now Dain Rauscher) where he rose through the ranks as broker, manager, Executive Vice President, becoming President of Rauscher in 1983. In 1981, Registered Rep magazine named Mr. Hodges one of the top 20 brokers in the USA. In 1989, he and his son, Craig Hodges, founded First Dallas Securities and Hodges Capital Management, an advisory firm, where he serves as Chairman, and Craig Hodges, as President. In October 1992 Mr. Hodges started a multi-cap core mutual fund, the Hodges Fund, which is now co-managed by Donald W. Hodges and Craig Hodges. The Hodges Fund is a four-time Lipper award winner. In addition, a new mutual fund, the Hodges Small Cap Fund, was launched in December 2007. Mr. Hodges is active in the community and his church, and serves on several Boards throughout Texas.
