Donald Santel

DONALD SANTEL joined Exhale Therapeutics, Inc., in 2000 as
President and Corporate Director and in April 2001 he was also
named Chief Executive Officer. During the previous two years, Mr.
Santel played a key role in the development of two San Francisco
Bay area-based medical device start-ups, serving as President and
Chief Operating Officer of Reflow, Inc., and General Manager of
CardioVasc, Inc. From 1992 to 1997, he held various positions at
Cardiac Pathways Corporation, including Vice President of
Marketing and International Sales and Vice President of Clinical
Engineering. From 1982 to 1991, he was with Medtronic, Inc. Mr.
Santel earned an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University
of Minnesota and a BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue
University.
