Dick Ellison

DICK ELLISON has served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and
President of TRC Companies, Inc., since May 1997. From 1984 to 1997 he
was President of Environmental Solutions, Inc. (ESI), a company founded
by Dr. Ellison and a partner in 1984 that was acquired by TRC in 1994.
ESI, which had revenue of about $30 million in 1994, served as
environmental consulting engineers for many of the largest remediation
and waste management projects in the western United States. Prior to
1984, Dr. Ellison served as Executive Vice President for one of the
nation’s largest consulting and engineering firms, D’Appolonia
Consulting Engineers, Inc. In that role he established one of the first
environmental and waste management consulting organizations in the
country, an opportunity created by new laws and regulations that were
established to reduce the environmental impact of development, and to
clean up sites where polluted ground and surface water created public
health hazards. Dr. Ellison holds a BS, MS and PhD degree in Civil
Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University
