David Madden

DAVID MADDEN is the co-Chief Executive Officer of Royalty Pharma AG, a
position he has held since joining the predecessor company in 1997.
Prior to joining Royalty Pharma, Mr. Madden was the President and Chief
Executive Officer of Selectide Corporation, a development stage
pharmaceutical company, from 1992 until the sale of the company to
Marion Merrell Dow (now Aventis) in 1995. Prior to joining Selectide, he
was a Vice President at PaineWebber Development Corporation, a group
within PaineWebber Inc. focused on the royalty-based financing of
biotechnology product development, which he joined in 1987 as an
Associate. He is also a Director of Adolor Corporation. Mr. Madden
received a BSEE, magna cum laude, in Electrical Engineering from Union
College and an MBA from Columbia University.
