David H. Brooks

DAVID H. BROOKS is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of S.Y. Bancorp,
Inc., has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Stock Yards Bank
& Trust Company since 1993 and has been employed by the bank since 1971.
Mr. Brooks received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from
Miami University in 1964 and his CPA Certification in 1967. Mr. Brooks
is an Advisory Board member of the Salvation Army (Kentucky-Tennessee
Division), and immediate past President of the Episcopal Church Home
Board, a former Director, Vice President, Treasurer and President of the
Louisville Jaycees, former member of the Governor’s Executive Management
Commission during Governor Brown’s Administration, a former President of
Kentucky Bankers Association and a present Board member and Chairman of
the Housing Partnership Board. He is also on the Clifton Center Board,
Boy Scouts Board, Fund for the Arts Board and NACM South Central Board.
His most recent appointment is to the Federal Reserve Board, Louisville
district.
