David F. Benson

DAVID F. BENSON has been an officer of The Meditrust Companies since
inception in 1985 and a Director since 1991. He is currently Interim
CEO, President and Treasurer of Meditrust Corporation. Previously he
was Treasurer of The Mediplex Group, Inc. from January 1986 to June
1987. Mr. Benson was previously associated with the Boston office of
PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP from 1975 to 1985 where he specialized in
providing financial services to a variety of healthcare clients. Mr.
Benson began his career with the New York investment banking firm, Brown
Brothers Harriman & Company. Mr. Benson, a Certified Public Accountant,
is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the
National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. He is a graduate
of Providence College and Pace University. Mr. Benson is also a Trustee
of Mid-Atlantic Realty Trust, a shopping center real estate investment
trust, and a non-executive Director of NHP, Plc, a UK company
specializing in the purchase and leasing of nursing homes. He lives in
Massachusetts with his family.
