David E. Gold

DAVID E. GOLD is General Partner of INDOSUEZ Ventures, a venture capital
firm based in Menlo Park, California. He specializes in computer and
computer-related investments with particular interest in software and
vertical markets. Prior to joining INDOSUEZ, Dr. Gold headed a
consulting firm specializing in evaluation of high technology
opportunities for venture capital firms. He was also founder and
publisher of Vertical Market Report, a monthly newsletter serving
vendors and VARs in vertical markets. David 30+ years of professional
experience cover research, development and marketing positions in the
computer industry, including five years with the IBM Corporation, a
small upstate New York manufacturer of typewriters and other office
equipment. Dr. Gold holds a DG in Electrical Engineering and MO and
Rh.D. degrees in Computer Science, all from the University of Illinois.
