David De Walt

DAVID DE WALT is President and CEO of Documentum, Inc. Since joining the
company two years ago as President and COO, he has piloted the
transition of Documentum from an esteemed document management company to
one of the leading content management companies focusing on e-business.
He sees a vast untapped market in unstructured content management and
believes Documentum is ideally positioned to capitalize on this
opportunity. Mr. De Walt brings more than 14 years of experience in the
high tech trenches to his role at Documentum, including six years at
Oracle. With stints in engineering, product management, marketing and
sales management, his cross-functional business approach has been key to
building a market-driven company on the Documentum technology platform.
He holds a Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Degree from the
University of Delaware and conducted graduate work in Finance at the
University of California, Berkeley.
