David Butze

DAVID BUTZE is President and Chief Executive Officer of International
Network Services’ president of western operations. He was promoted to
vice president of worldwide field operations in 1997 and to chief
operating officer of INS in 1999. Following the Lucent acquisition of
INS, he served as vice president of worldwide field operations for
Lucent NetworkCare Professional Services and was subsequently promoted
to president of Lucent NPS in August of 2000. David served as president
of Lucent Enhanced Services & Sales since its inception in December
2000, and became the CEO of INS when it was spun off from Lucent. From
May 1992 to March 1995 he served as vice president of sales and
marketing for Valence Technology, Inc. From March 1989 to May 1992 he
was vice president of JWP Information Services, a systems integrator
company. He has also held various sales and sales management positions
at Sperry Corporation and Hercules Incorporated. He holds a degree in
political economics from the University of Vermont.
