Darryl Hartley-Leonard

DARRYL HARTLEY-LEONARD is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
PGI, Inc. He retired as Chairman of Hyatt Hotels Corporation in
1996 after a 32-year career with the hotel company and its
diversified affiliates. He first joined Hyatt in 1964 and rose
through the ranks to become the company’s Executive Vice
President in 1978, President and Chief Executive Officer/Chief
Operating Officer in 1986, and Chairman of the Board in 1994. He
also served as President of Regency Systems Solutions, Hyatt’s
technology subsidiary. Widely recognized as a spokesperson for
travel and tourism, Mr. Hartley-Leonard served as Chairman of the
White House Conference on Travel and Tourism in 1995, and was
Chairman of the U.S. Department of Commerce Travel and Tourism
Advisory Board. He is a former Chairman of the Travel Business
Roundtable and served as Chairman of the Travel and Tourism
Government. Mr. Hartley-Leonard has been Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer of PGI since 1997.
