Daniel A. Porat-

Daniel A. Porat- born in Israel 1951. Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Makhteshim Agan Industries Ltd. since 1998, has held several positions within the organization. From 1994-1998 – Deputy Managing Director for Marketing and Sales of Makhteshim Chemical Works and Agan Chemical Manufacturers Ltd; 1991-1994 – President Makhteshim Agan of North America Inc; 1986-1991 – Commercial Director of Makhteshim and Agan; 1984-1986 Marketing Manager Makhteshim and 1981-1984 Product Manager in Fine Chemicals Division of Makteshim. During the years 1980-1981 he was Personal Assistant to the President and CEO of Koor Chemicals Ltd. and from 1976-1980 he was employed in the Gadot-Yochananof Group in sales and logistics. He obtained BSc (1971) in Chemistry and Physics and MSc (1973) in Organic Chemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and MBA (1977) at Tel-Aviv University.
