Curt Thorne

CURT THORNE joined MedSolutions, Inc. as President and Chief Operating
Officer in 1998 and became Chief Executive Officer in March 2000. Prior
to joining MedSolutions, Mr. Thorne served as President and COO of a
specialty physician management company. He also served in senior
management positions with Aetna Healthplans, The Travelers, and Cigna,
where he led the development and operation of nationwide pharmacy
benefit management companies, serving in positions which include General
Manager, COO and President. At Cigna and The Travelers, Mr. Thorne built
nationwide operations from startup to businesses managing over $300
million and $100 million of drug spend, respectively. At Aetna, Mr.
Thorne developed and executed strategies to more than double total
revenues to $920 million in two years, and increase profits nearly
ninefold to over $30 million. Mr. Thorne earned his Master’s in Business
Administration from the Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest
University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of
North Carolina. He has been active in serving on various national
managed care policy making task forces, work groups and editorial
boards.
