Craig Berger

Craig Berger is a Managing Director in the technology, media and telecom equity research group of FBR Capital Markets, where he covers the semiconductor components sector. Mr. Berger has more than 10 years of experience working in the chip industry or analyzing chip stocks. Prior to joining FBRC, Mr. Berger worked from 2005 to 2007 at Wedbush Morgan Securities, where he actively followed more than 15 stocks in the analog, communication and consumer subsectors. From 2002 through 2005, he worked at Smith Barney as a semiconductor Analyst and an Associate. From 1999 through 2002, Mr. Berger worked at Intel Corp., where he held various positions of increasing responsibility in the CPU and capital spending operations finance groups. Mr. Berger was Forbes’ number one-ranked blue-chip semiconductor analyst for 2010 (number two in 2009), and he was named StarMine’s number one semiconductor earnings forecaster for 2010 (number three in 2009). Mr. Berger has been a repeat guest on several TV shows, including CNBC’s “Fast Money” and “Squawk Box,” and he is often cited by press and media outlets, including Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and Forbes, among others. Mr. Berger holds a bachelor’s in business administration and a master’s in professional accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a CFA charterholder.
