Clive Snowdon

CLIVE SNOWDON joined UMECO Plc as Chief Executive in April 1997, and has since been responsible for a comprehensive strategic review and restructuring programme. UMECO Plc is now Europe’s leading provider of value-added distribution services to the aerospace and defence industry. Products supplied include aerospace components, composite materials and chemicals, and outsourcing services include direct line feed systems, kitting and stock and supplier management systems. The majority of these products and services are supplied to major customers such as BAE SYSTEMS, British Airways, Rolls-Royce, Smiths Industries, TRW Lucas Aerospace, and the Ministry of Defence. Clive Snowdon has a broad industrial background with significant experience in both distribution and manufacturing. Previously, he was Managing Director of Burnfield Plc and has held senior positions with Vickers Plc and Hawker Siddeley Group Plc.
