Claus Wortmann

CLAUS WORTMANN is the Chief Executive Officer of BinTec Communications
AG. He studied business administration in Hamburg. Before joining
BinTec Communications in 1997, Mr Wortmann had worked from 1981 to 1986
as Central European sales manager for the computer manufacturer Evans &
Sutherland. Until 1991, he was then general manager for Central
European operations at Sequent Computer Systems in Munich. Mr Wortmann
became involved in computer networking in 1991, when he established and
built up the Central European outlet of the US network producer Chipcom
in Munich, where he was active until he joined BinTec in 1997.
