Christiane Hotz-Firlus

CHRISTIANE HOTZ-FIRLUS is a Management Board Member for Finance and
Personnel at BETA Systems Software AG. Ms. Hotz-Firlus joined BETA
Systems in 1989 as Director of Finance. Two years later she was asked
to join BETA’s Management Board. Responsible for Finance, Human
Resources and Administration, her efforts have been the key to the
company’s continual growth. Ms. Hotz-Firlus holds a Masters Degree in
Environmental Engineering and another in Business Administration. She
has a broad background in financial management, specialising in the
financing of technology startups. It was in this area of interest that
she first worked as a consultant and then later was responsible for
project management in a venture capital company. A main interest of Ms.
Hotz-Firlus is change management in an expanding organisation,
particularly systematic personnel development in the face of fast paced
and continual change.
