Charles T. Comiso

CHARLES T. COMISO, Chief Executive Officer and President of Tanisys
Technology, Inc., has over fifteen years of general management
experience in High Technology Marketing and Manufacturing Operations.
Mr. Comiso’s most recent assignment, prior to arriving at Tanisys, was
as Senior Vice President, Customer Service and Quality Assurance at WYSE
Technology in San Jose, California. Other positions held at WYSE also
included Senior Vice President, Operations and Customer Service, as well
as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Operations. At WYSE, Mr. Comiso
was responsible for the consolidation and repositioning of five
companies, brands and product lines into a single company, with the
emphasis focused on ‘thin client’ Windows computer terminals. Prior to
his six years in executive roles at WYSE, Mr. Comiso served as the
President and CEO at Link Technologies, the largest manufacturer of
customized OEM terminals located in Fremont, California. Mr. Comiso also
spent 13 years in general management and marketing positions at Hewlett
Packard, as well as serving several years in a variety of engineering,
sales, marketing and field service positions at Texas Instruments, IT&T
Labs and Bendix Corporation. Mr. Comiso received his Bachelor of Science
degree in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of
Technology. He also has completed graduate work at the University of
Houston, Stanford University and Oregon State University. He has
participated in The Center for Quality of Management and has served on
the boards of The Enterprise Network, Runtronics and InterActual
Technologies, Inc. Mr. Comiso is married and has three sons. He and his
wife are relocating from Los Altos Hills, California to Austin, Texas.
