C. Baker Cunningham

C. BAKER CUNNINGHAM has been Chairman, President and CEO of Belden Inc.
since 1993 when Belden became an independent publicly traded company.
During the past eight years, Mr. Cunningham has been the architect of
Belden’s growth strategy that is transforming the company from a mid-
sized competitor in the North American market into a leading global
supplier of specialty wire, cable and fiber optics for the
communications and electronics industry. Prior to joining Belden, Mr.
Cunningham spent 23 years with Cooper Industries, Inc. in a variety of
executive positions. Mr. Cunningham holds a Bachelor of Science degree
from Washington University; a Master of Science degree from Georgia
Institute of Technology; and a Master of Business Administration degree
from Harvard University.
