Brent R. Constantz

BRENT R. CONSTANTZ, PH.D., is Norian’s founder, president, CEO and
chief scientist. The author of 22 U.S. patents, Dr. Constantz was a
leading authority on biomineralization prior to starting Norian
Corporation. He conducted post-doctoral research on isotope geochemistry
at the U.S. Geological Survey and studied protein-crystal interactions
in biomineralization as a Fulbright Scholar at the Weizmann Institute of
Science in Israel. He earned a B.A. in aquatic biology and geological
sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an M.S.
and Ph.D. in earth sciences from the University of California, Santa
Cruz.
