Bradley Jacobs

BRADLEY JACOBS, along with seven other former members of senior
management at United Waste Systems, Inc., founded United Rentals, Inc.
in September of 1997. Prior to the formation of United Rentals, Mr.
Jacobs founded United Waste in 1989 and served as its Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer from the inception until the sale of the company in
August 1997. From 1984 to July 1989, Mr. Jacobs was Chairman and Chief
Operating Officer of Hamilton Resources Ltd., an international trading
company, and from 1979 to 1983, he was Chief Executive Officer of Amerex
Oil Associates, Inc., an oil brokerage firm that he co-founded.
