Bernard Byrne

Bernard Byrne is a Chartered Accountant who trained and qualified with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dublin, working as a Manager in the Audit and Business Advisory services department. He then spent five years working in ESB Internationals asset investment and facility management division where, as Commercial Director, he was responsible for the establishment and execution of the international strategy. Specifically this involved implementation of a risk management programme for a diverse international portfolio. He joined IWP International plc in 1998 as Group Finance Director and was appointed Deputy Chief Executive in 2002. IWP International plc is a personal care company with significant operations in Europe and North America, employing 4,000 people.
