Barclay Simpson

BARCLAY SIMPSON has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of
Simpson Manufacturing Co., Inc, since 1994. He has been with the company
since its inception in 1956. Mr. Simpson also is a member of the Boards
of Directors of Calender Robinson Insurance, the University Art Museum
of the University of California at Berkeley, and the California College
of Arts and Crafts and is active in other charitable and educational
institutions.
