Barbara V. Scherer

BARBARA V. SCHERER is Senior Vice President, Finance and
Administration and CFO of Plantronics, Inc. She joined the
company in April 1997 as Vice President, Finance and
Administration and Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to
Senior Vice President in March 1998. In this position, she is
responsible for all financial, accounting, information
technology, legal and human resource activities. Prior to joining
Plantronics, Ms. Scherer was the CFO for StreamLogic and
Micropolis Corporations. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the
University of California at Santa Barbara and received her MBA
from the Yale School of Management.
