Assem F. Audi

ASSEM F. AUDI (64) is Chairman of the Management Board of MOSAIC SOFTWARE AG, Bonn. In 1976, he founded a successful international commercial company. In the mid-1980s, in response to the practical needs of everyday commerce, he began with this company to develop software for data interchange and the creation and editing of documents in foreign trade. With this new area of business, Mr Audi still under the name of Assem Audi & Co. GmbH at that point laid the foundations for the innovative technology group MOSAIC. Today, MOSAIC is one of the leading manufacturers of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) software in the banking and e-business sector. Milestones in the history of his successful corporate activities include the IPO of MOSAIC SOFTWARE AG in 1999, the acquisition of what is now MOSAIC GEVA GMBH, Alsdorf, at the beginning of 2000, and the foundation of the first foreign subsidiary of MOSAIC, MOSAIC SOFTWARE (SWITZERLAND) AG, Schaffhausen, in August 2000. Mr Audi is President of the Administrative Board of the Swiss company.
