Asif Bashir

ASIF BASHIR is the Chief Executive Officer of rasmallai.com Plc, the
AIM-listed dedicated Asian Internet portal serving the business and
community needs of the UK’s two and a half million strong Asian
community. Aged 27, Mr Bashir graduated in 1995 with an honours degree
in Computer Science at De Montfort University and has since studied for
a number of industry certifications. During his employment in IT he has
worked for a number of companies including IBM, Ford Credit, British
Airways and Hewlett Packard. He also holds a directorship in e-Flow, a
specialist IT consultancy. In a short space of time, the company has
been developed into a premiere Internet Portal, serving the needs of the
two and a half million strong Asian Community in the UK. The UK Asian
Community comprises about 2.5 million people with an aggregate annual
disposable income of over GBP5 billion, and is seen as an area of
genuine opportunity for e-commerce. Mr Bashir aims to tap into this
