Anthony P. Orlando

ANTHONY P. ORLANDO is Vice President, Infrastructure at Strategic
Technologies, Inc. He has been employed in the technology
marketplace since 1988. With extensive sales and technology
expertise in the financial services market, Mr. Orlando is
currently the executive responsible for managing Strategic
Technologies’ Systems Consulting and Integration (SCI) business
unit. The Systems Consulting and Integration organization
delivers technology procurement and professional services across
a wide range of vertical markets that leverage infrastructure
solutions to gain competitive advantage. Under his leadership,
the organization provides both pre-sales business development and
post-sale professional services solutions delivery. He has built
SCI’s product offerings to provide the information technology
foundation for meeting service level commitments for application
availability, data integrity, systems responsiveness and data
recoverability. Mr. Orlando has developed a consulting culture in
which his team provides objective assistance in analyzing
technology requirements, assessing current capabilities and
aligning effective technology solutions to current and future
business requirements; this minimizes total cost of ownership
while maximizing return on investment. Positioned to maximize the
interaction of adjacent layers of technology, the SCI team
addresses the key infrastructure technology areas of networking,
servers, storage, database, security, enterprise and performance
management. In addition to Strategic Project Management, core
areas of enterprise expertise are focused around Microsoft
networking and interoperability, UNIX, storage area networking,
business continuance, disaster recovery, systems management, and
server/storage/data Center consolidation. Mr. Orlando’s numerous
technical certifications in areas such as systems, storage,
database, network management, and enterprise systems integration
have complemented his business experience in delivering
enterprise technology consulting services and solutions to Global
2000 companies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management
Information Systems and a Master’s degree in Business
Administration.
