Anthony Mong-Fai Tang

ANTHONY MONG-FAI TANG has been Chief Financial Officer of Cathay
Bancorp, Inc., and Senior Executive Vice President and Chief
Lending Officer of Cathay Bank since May 1994. From 1986 to 1994,
he was CFO of Cathay Bancorp and Senior Vice President and Chief
Lending Officer of Cathay Bank. Mr. Tang was Vice President and
Manager of the Monterey Park branch of Cathay Bank from 1981 to
1986 and from 1979 to 1981, he was Assistant Vice President and a
Commercial Loan Officer. From 1978 to 1979, he was involved in
commercial banking administration with Crocker National Bank and
from 1976 to 1978, he was an Assistant Cashier in the
Multinational Division of Lloyds Bank California. Mr. Tang
attended the Pacific Coast Banking School and the University of
Southern California Graduate School of Business. He holds a BS in
Business Administration with a major in International Finance and
is a member of the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce.
