Andrew R. Speaker

ANDREW R. SPEAKER, President & CEO of Mercer Insurance Group, Inc.,
began his career with Main Hurdman, CPAs, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania,
in 1985, specializing in the audits of insurance companies in the mid-
Atlantic region. Main Hurdman merged with Peat Marwick and eventually
became KPMG, LLP. Mr. Speaker advanced to Accounting Supervisor with
KPMG. In April 1990, Mr. Speaker began as Treasurer with Mercer Mutual
Insurance company, eventually advancing to Chief Financial Officer and
Chief Operating Officer. In March 2000, Mr. Speaker was promoted to
President and CEO. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since
October 1997. In December 2003, Mr. Speaker led Mercer Mutual Insurance
Company through the successful subscription rights conversion to a stock
insurance company. The Mercer Insurance Group, Inc., is the publicly
traded holding company formed to hold the stock of the converted
company. Mr. Speaker is a Trustee of MSO, Inc., an insurance rating
organization. He is past Chairman of the PAMIC Financial Management
Committee and is a member of the AICPA and the PICPA.
