Andrew Munro

After reading Law at Reading University, ANDREW MUNRO spent 6 years on the PGA Tour as a professional golfer touring the Far East and South Africa. He suffered an injury and, as a result, redirected his career to the cellular industry, where he developed considerable expertise in mobile data communications.
Andy worked as an Area Manager for Mobile Phone Centre (MPC) and was responsible for the launch, development and day-to-day operations of three of the organisation’s most successful outlets. He has devoted much of his time to mobile computing – devising and supporting wireless data solutions for major clients in the UK. As a recognised industry expert, Andy has consulted on projects for the European Commission, Ernst & Young and Logica. Andy founded MobileFuture in 1999.
