Andrew Jameson

ANDREW JAMESON is the European Semiconductor Analyst for Dresdner
Kleinwort Benson covering the large integrated device manufacturers and
semiconductor intellectual property companies. Mr Jameson has a broad
range of experience in both the finance industry and academia. Prior to
joining DKB, he was a Fund Manager at the Scottish firm Murray
Johnstone, with a wide exposure to all sectors, not solely technology.
He spent a short period as a Corporate Financier arranging senior debt
facilities for Management buy-outs within HSBC Investment Bank. In the
late 1980s, Mr Jameson read Computer Science and Corporate Finance at
Edinburgh University before moving to the Department of Political
Economics at Glasgow University to specialise in contemporary
International Macroeconomics and Trade Theory. Specific research
uniquely contrasted stockmarket volatility across the major
international stock markets, advocating specific trading strategies on
various event dates. In his spare time, Mr Jameson attempts to maintain
his interest in international relations, public policy and music. He is
a keen pianist and accomplished skier.
