ANDR BEAULIEU is the Founder, President and Chief Scientific
Officer of Dermacor. Dr Beaulieu is Professor of Medicine at
Universit Laval, Quebec, Canada where he teaches and practices
clinical medicine since 1979. He has been involved in the study
of the mechanisms of tissue damage and repair for over 20 years
and his expertise in this area of research has led to the
discovery of the findings that constitute the Intellectual
Property of Dermacor. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed
publications and presented close to 100 scientific communications
at international meetings. Dr Beaulieu has received numerous
research grants from the former Medical Research Council of
Canada and presently receives financial support form the Canadian
Institute for Health Research for this research on mechanisms of
tissue damage and repair. Dr Beaulieu has been the Principal
Investigator in over 50 clinical trials. He is a member of the
Scientific Advisory Boards of a number of pharmaceutical
companies and he has occupied the position of chairman of the
Medical Planning committee of The Arthritis Society, Director of
the Centre de Recherche en Rhumatologie et Immunologie of
Universit Laval and is presently Director of the Arthritis and
Inflammation research laboratory of the same Institution.
