ALLAN P. BROWN is Senior Vice President and a Portfolio Manager for AIC,
Ltd. He joined the firm in August 2000, bringing with him more than six
years of investment experience. Prior to joining AIC, Mr. Brown was a
partner with IG Investment Management Limited where he served as Manager
of Investors Summa Fund from October 1997 to August 2000. He earned a BA
(Honors) in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA
from McGill University. Mr. Brown is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
